I just read in a Facebook forum for Richard Armitage, that Spooks will air 19/10. Have you heard/read anything?

The BBC has confirmed that "Life" a nature documentary series will be airing on Monday nights at 9pm for a 10-week run.

This means that at 9pm on Monday 19th October.. "Life" will be airing, NOT Spooks.

As a result of this it is pretty likely that Spooks will not air on a Monday night this year.

Definitely not out on then - Radio Times have listed what's on until 25th October, and the BBC press release for the week 24-30 October have said nothing about Spooks, so my guess it's not coming out until November.

It all seems a bit strange but didnt series 7 not start until October 27th last year? That was quite late. I cant see it being posponed until next year as they have already sent out the preview discs for episode one. Why do that and risk a leak if you are not planning on showing it for 3 months? I am sure in some weird way the BBC know what they are doing but they need to remember that not all Spooks watchers are fanatics like us so they need to do some advertising soon to make sure the viewing figures are as high as possible. Look what happened to ITV's excellant drama Kingdom at the weekend. Huh

Just been looking on the Radio Times website. Has anyone noticed they have traffic cops down on Wednesday 21st October 9pm - 10pm.

Isnt traffic cops a 30 minute show? All the repeats shown on the Dave channel are 30mins. The traffic cops episode shown on Wednesday 14th is also 30mins.

Traffic Cops is presented in two formats... an hour long episode which is aired for every new series, and repeats are aired as a 30min cut down episode to fill in gaps.

I believe Hustle is due to air early next year as it did last year, so I doubt these shows will be aired close to each other.

I think the BBC will slip it into the schedule with like a weeks notice.

I would still put my money on Thursday 29th October at 9pm. I have no inside knowledge about the start date, I just think this is the most likely one.

New Tricks is scheduled for that time the week before.. but I don't know if it's a new series or not.. anyone find out?
