Good. There's no way that they're going to bring everyone back just to re-shoot an ending.

Well at least that leaves me an extra 30 quid for Christmas booze!!!

Why am I not surprised - people like him had it in their powers to do a better job with the ending the first time round, it was only clutching at straws to think there might be a happier alternative. Real shame though.

He did say the spoke about potential endings on the commentary but personaly inthink it's the right ending

Ah well an alternative ending filmed would have been nice, if it was filmed purely on the basis as an insurance ending if one was heavily leaked to the public.

Ooo, If there is talk of potential endings on the commentary that's good enough, it will be a nice insight.

A call not only for the alternative ending(s), but for everything and anything they can fit on the discs! I've always felt Spooks dvds (series 5-present) have lacked special features. I'm thinking something similar too Series 2. But, anything that can be included, in my opinion, should be included. Cheers!

I´ve already signed the petition, but will write shortly here too. I was really disappointed by the ending, my biggest Spooks-related disappointment and maybe the biggest TV-show-related disappointment for me. Personally I would be really grateful if there would be a possibility of an alternative ending, even very short one. Can´t judge the reality of it but this one disappointed many fellow fans and it was pointless in my opinion, no need to try to fulfil a death-taxe or so, nobody would suspect Spooks of few tragic endings of their characters I suppose? This being the very last episode of the very last season, I believe it wouldn´t have been inappropriate to leave Ruth and Harry alive even if this isn´t a romantic series. I never expected them seeing before altar or so, but there surely were many ways to make a decent and appropriate, hopeful ending for them, even an somewhat open one, but hopeful.
