You should have heard me in the car yesterday, after I forgot my credit card PIN and had to rush home to get another card...oh, the air was blue. And that's a thing about Spooks - they don't swear much but at least they do swear a bit. Harry's said "f*(k" at least twice that I've heard, which is perfectly acceptable on UK TV after the watershed but not sure whether it gets bleeped on US TV, does it? "Where's Harry?" RE: Peter Firth
I managed to get hold of "Holding On" (no pun intended)". I ploughed through two eps before having the wit to look up which ep PF was in. He was in ep 8 - I could have suffered through the entire series before seeing him!
He's only in 3 scenes and has hardly any words. When he does speak it's with a sort-of generic ooh-aar country accent. At least in this his character's married to a...rotund...woman...so perhaps some hope for me there!!! An odd series...a bit like "Clocking Off" but set in London...lots of different sub-plots which link people somehow. And for some bizarre reason they all seem to end up with bad teeth, mouth herpes and black eyes. Yawn. "Where's Harry?" "Moving in mysterious ways." |

RE: Peter Firth
Yeah, there had to be an upside to that series...
I've just made a list of all of PF's work, marking up what I have, what I've watched online, etc etc. Still loads of stuff I've not seen. Mind you, there is a lot of stuff I have that I haven't managed to find time to watch yet... If anyone's interested, there's a VHS copy of "Pleasure Principle" on Ebay right now - this is a lovely film and PF plays a leading role. He's also naked in it a lot , which is an added bonus (but wasn't the reason I bought it... honestly!) If you no longer have a video player, it's actually worth getting hold of one at a bootsale or via Freegle so that you can watch this!! Oh, and there are also some autographed Top Gear-linked first edition stamp covers. PF's autographed them, with his Top Gear score. "Where's Harry?" "Moving in mysterious ways." |

I actually sold my two video players at a boot sale a few months ago and now regret it. I also read somewhere that you can copy your video onto a DVD, if you have a DVD recorder. I don't know whether that is true or not. This photo is already on PF forum and posted on twitter, but if not already seen here is a photo of Peter taken a few days ago. It is the same lucky lady that posted the recent Spooks filming photos in London. It remains to be seen whether this is a photo of Harry or Peter. With the long hair and lack of crew in the background, I would guess it is Peter. But the tie is Harry though??? http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=18...5016354165 |

Not sure about whether you can copy a video onto a DVD recorder - of course, you'd still have to have a video player to play it in the first place! You can get software that allows you to copy a video onto a hard drive but last time I looked it wasn't cheap. there are companies that'll copy videos to DVD for you but, again, not particularly cheap. [/quote] I'm soooooo envious!!!! It's not far from where I work - wish I'd known about it. Def. Peter as Harry, between takes, probably - he's wearing the pinned collar. Peter seems to prefer a much more laid back approach - a kind of 'rumpled romeo' look, which I infinitely prefer to Harry's buttoned-up look. His hair is totally gorgeous, though!!!! "Where's Harry?" And in return for sharing this lovely picture of Peter, I will tell you that Sony makes a VHS-DVD recorder. We have the VRDMC5. They cost around $200 USD. That's about $130 GBP? Maybe a bit more for better models. Now off to dream about running my fingers through those curls...! Good thing I'm NOT in that side of the Atlantic! Now cracks a noble heart. I know this is creeping into the filming thread slightly but I wonder what they were doing there. There really isn't a lot to see except office buildings and a few pubs on that junction. Peter is standing outside 76 Shoe Lane I think, where several of my ex-colleagues work. That is the building with the helipad used in 8.8. How did this girl know he was there? She was at the Bermondsey shoot as well. I am jealous. Peter's hair is so long in that photo compared to the Bafta photos of him. I can't quite imagine Harry having that long a hair. Forget all the talk about people not being who they say they are etc etc. We just want to know why Harry is wearing his hair so long! |

RE: Peter Firth
Ooh - could it be connected with this reported storyline about filming something that happened in Harry's past? Maybe Peter's grown his hair make it look more like it did when he was younger...
