That made me laugh during the programme - the sheer perfection of the fit and elegance of the outfit. Do you think Lucas consulted Harry's tailor?

By the way, I'm new here and just wanted to say how delighted I am that I'm not the only one who perked up and paid attention when Harry was told to strip. Those programme makers are a big tease. Perhaps they could provide a tad more gratification in S10?

Simply awesome Silba

My word! That exposed neck Angel

I quite like this shot as well. I was going to use it as my avatar but can't quite bring myself to give up the bad ass Ruth one yet.

Haha, we certainly did perk up and I have to admit to rewatching this scene a few times, for artistic reasons of course. Totally love your name, DogSoSmall. Smile

Thank you. I think there's a writer on the programme that loves this book, it's been mentioned a couple of times over the years! I love the literary allusions they put in, but if I'm brutally honest the only one that was genuinely familiar to me was my favourite children's book!

I loved the PF radio interview. One of the sexiest things about him is his gorgeous voice and it is such a treat to sit and listen to it. I've listened to this clip quite a few times now. Smile There's a bit of a derth of PF stuff out on the internet isn't there?

Are we thinking that Harry is at his most sexy in this episode? I doAngel

Oh, could someone advise me on how to get a avatar? I really feel I should. I did change my PC background to one of PF in his nice blue shirt (the shot when he's on the phone to Lucas on that pontoon bridge). My little boy (aged 6) saw it and said 'Owww Spooks, It's the Lovely Man'. LOL! Must have overheard me musing aloud on occasions!

RE: Peter Firth
He did indeed look very very handsome in that white suit......crazy as Lucas/John may be, at least his taste in fashion is not effected....lol Big Grin

Should I be worried that not only Lucas knows Harry's clothing size but apparently also what brings out Harry's natural glow? Ummmm Lucas, clearly you've been focusing more on Harry than Maya...oops

Harry RE: Peter Firth
Really sorry if this has been asked before but I'm new on here. Just caught up with all 8 series of spooks on dvd over the past few months and have started to watch all the dvd special features.

Has PF done any of the dvd audio commentaries? If he has I think I will skip straight to those! The chance to listen to that wonderful voice for a further hour, is just too temptingBlush

I'm pretty sure he didn't do any. Can I recommend 2.5 though with NW. It is soooooo funny. You may be aware of this already YHF but Peter was on Front Row BBC radio 4 last Monday. You can also catch it on iplayer. Also Peters done a lot of audio books such as Birdsong, Tess, Regeneration. I've got Regeneration on my iPhone at the moment.

I don't think he did any of the audio commentary at all Wink
But the NW ones, 2.5 and also 4.9 are fantastic and so funny!
Series 4 Spoiler: show
I think the bus scene in 4.9, the commentary was just brilliant, "Don't tell the story!" and "Adam Schadam!" haha

Actually, by mistake and without realising it I was just flicking through some stuff yesterday, found my DVD of Shadowlands... and who was in that? a younger Peter Firth haha,
I recognised him straight away, he doesn't look too much different and that voice... knew it instantly even though that was about 10 years ago Wink I couldn't help but imagine that was what Harry was like in the early 90's Wink

RE: Peter Firth
Thanks TL and FS - will definitely check out the commentaries for 2.5 and 4.9. They were 2 of my favourite episodes.

Thanks to this forum, I recorded the PF interview on Front Row last week. Would never have known about this otherwise.

Think my hubby's wondering what's happening....during the last week I've recorded a Radio 4 show, developed a sudden interest in meteors and asteroids (PF narrates the Horizon programme) and ordered a copy of Yellowstone!!!
