I could actually have been there at the same time as PF during this summer. And the thought that I could have come across him skinny dipping....well, feeling faint at just the thought of it!! Think PF should do a TV advert for the Yorkshire Tourist Board, these are all wonderful places to visit. Have spent many hours queuing outside the Magpie Cafe in Whitby, will take more of an interest who's in the queue next time! |

RE: Peter Firth
What, an actor lying during an interview?! Never!
I wonder, if he weren't restricted to naming people that come from Yorkshire, whether his answers on his favourite actor/artists would have been different? |

RE: Peter Firth
Ah well, I for one will just take him at his word, and enjoy the lovely image it creates.

RE: Peter Firth
Sorry for changing the discussion a bit but I just wondered when was the last time Peter Firth talked about Spooks ? As far as I know RW, RA, MB and SM all did interviews about this series. Did PF do a cast interview on Series 8 DVD ? (I don't have it yet !) In the promo for the series 9 DVD Peter Firth sits by NW but doesn't say anything.

He was interviewed on BBC Radio 4, only a few weeks ago about Spooks. I am not surprised he wasn't around for the pre-season interviews this year as he was in Leeds filming South Riding, August/September. He did though film an interview for GMTV for S9, but as GMTV was cancelled, it was never shown and we only ever got to see a teaser trailer. Peter did an interview with HN for S8, again for GMTV, which you can find on Youtube. In 2007 he also did a couple of interviews, again on Youtube, for BBC and This Morning. As for the S9 DVD, that is only a short clip on Amazon. There will be an interview with both NW and PF on the released version, I am pretty sure. |
