For anyone that's interested Richard Arnold from GMTV is on a set visit to Spooks now to do filming for an interview. He is though tweeting about it as he goes. Twitter name is "Talking Telly." He says that SM plays a "mercenary" and there is a fictional report in the meeting room on a "fishing trawler."

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the GMTV interview. How exciting. I am really looking forward to S9 now, shame we have to wait till the Autumn. Looks like those of us who wanted more character based material are getting our wish. I wonder what the surprise about Lucas is? My hunch is that Lucas is gay. We shall just have to sit on our hands and wait!

I am not a GMTV watcher but I assume that is his slot on the morning show. Sounds like then, there will be some Spooks news on there tomorrow morning *note to self to set alarm clock*

Great stuff YFM. It looks like Nightingale will be coming to an end early S9 then, thank goodness ! Couple of questions though, does "old Home Sec" mean Blake or the new one who's name escapes me? Also what is Lucas doing in a hospital to meet his old flame who is a doctor?

So if SM is playing a mercenary, LR a doctor, and MB a Greek pirate, who on earth will be our new field officers in S9 ?????
