RE: Series 9 Filming & Behind the Scenes
It's understandable that SM and MB are the ones doing the press. Sophia in particular is a big drawcard and will bring in younger viewers. They want to use that to their advantage and I'm sure PF and RA are happy to pass on the press duties. RA did some work for them during his press tour for Strike Back anyway and may be unavailable right now.
Many thanks to Tyger for a terrific signature |

RE: Series 9 Filming & Behind the Scenes
Richard Armitage was on Loraine this morning, not something I usually watch, and the interview was just becoming interesting about the new series when the female doing the interview interrupted with some silly talk, that's all I can call it! RA was beginning to talk about the fact that the producers want to get more into the complexities of working for MI5 and the personal cost it has on individuals. He was then shoved into a kitchen to watch something being cooked!!

Reminder for BBC1 Breakfast show tomorrow morning and Saturday Kitchen which follows it. SM is supposed to appear. |

Thanks, TL. Nice clip. "What is the truth?" "Betrayal is a cancer. Let it eat your soul, not mine." "Please tell me this isn't going where I think it's going." |

He was then shoved into a kitchen to watch something being cooked!! Depends. I hated them but the Hubby LOVES them but I think that's because you can usually get some free food out of it. Maybe a goody bag. I only did them on a very small local morning shows scale, not on a national scale (and in the US) but the format isn't much different. I wonder if it is possible to get the requirement to do them written out of one's contract? Which leads me to another thought cued from a few posts back. It seems to me that PF has not had to do much promotion of this type for S9. I wonder if he has the longevity and pull to only have to do on set interviews? I will never know, but I wonder. Anyone who has access to a standard BBC/Kudos actor contract, please PM me. Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet [Spooks]; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest. ~Wm. Maybe he said, after that infamous Fern Britton interview on "This Morning" in 2007, that if you EVER make me go on one of these crazy chat shows again, I will quit and go sail my boat around the Med for the next twenty years !! Then again, maybe his South Riding contract won't let him out for the day. Yorkshire is about 1000 miles from London A Cousin, and he would probably need to get a tram, two planes, a donkey and a paddle steamer, to get back to London town |

RE: Series 9 Filming & Behind the Scenes
It is a pity PF isn't on SOMETHING. We don't see much Spooks-related stuff over here in Oz, but PF was terrific in a "Top Gear" segment (along with Rupert P-J). They were very funny. More PF!!

Be warned, I only stuck it for a minute before wanting to throw a shoe at Myleen Klass. There is also a clip from 9.1, so beware spoilers. http://www.itv.com/lorraine/celebrity/richardarmitage/ |
