I have just had an email off play.com to advise series 8 has been dispatched, so fingers crossed I will recieve it and watch it over the weekend.

Two features:
One on the throwing over the balcony by Nancy
One on filming the explosion of the house in 8.05 (with HN in on this feature)

I agree with you compleatly silktie.

Nicola Walkers Audio commentaries are the best she is really funny.
It would have been great if her and Peter Firth could have done one together.
I was hoping that they would mention the bring back ruth postcard campaign.

Was hoping for at least some cast commentaries. And yes, the 'Brink Back Ruth' postcard campaign would have been a lovely feature - or at least something on her return!!

Personally I'm a bit let down by this; it seems that the best DVD extras so far were for the first few series. I would have loved to have a Nicola Walker / Peter Firth commentary for episode 1.

Just got my advice from Amazon that the DVD is on it's way to Australia! Fantastic! Can't wait any longer for the (Australian) ABC to get off their butts to broadcast Series 8.

Just checked my Amazon account because I was wondering if they had send my DVD yet as I didn't receive a dispatch email and it says that expected dispatch date is 23rd October. So not happy about this.
